My experience with the office of Florida Sports Medicine & Orthopedics began with an injured shoulder and knee. Dr. James Talkington has a straight get-to-the-point professional manner of talking with you which I appreciate. He and his staff are friendly, but keep to the schedule for the courtesy of others. He made recommendations that were wise and thoughtful to my pain levels. I appreciate his knowledge and expertise in putting people back together again. I have recommended him. Excellent

Dr. Talkington was very thorough and went over xrays and mri results in great detail. Appointment was scheduled quickly for new patient emergency/ urgent care.

Dr. Talkington did my achillis tendon surgery 7 years ago when I lived in Panama City Beach. I now live in Alaska and due to the wonderful job Dr. Talkington did on my achillis I returned to Florida to have him give his opinion and decide a course of action for the issues I have been having with my left knee. I have complete trust in Dr. Talkington and his staff Mr. Houston
Very good with the office and doctor
I have had issues with my knees going on 11 years now. After my last fall, Dr. Talkington found the issue as to why my knee kept dislocating. He was fast about scheduling me for surgery and getting the problem fixed. I am doing much better than I was and I would recommend him anytime to anyone!
Dr. Talkington took time to explain the issues that my grandmother was having with her knee. The office staff was very nice. Great experience! Will recommend Dr. Talkington to family and friends.
