I have to admit that my first impression of Dr. LaMotta (in 2012) was not a good one. According to him, my injury was not bad enough to do anything about except drugs and shots, and I have already been doing drug therapy since my original injury in 2003. I had leg pain for four years and X-rays showed spinal stenosis. Dr. Lamotta explained that I had a disc that was pressing on the root nerves causing the pain. I tried physical therapy and 2 shots in my back and felt no relief so surgery was the next step. My right leg was the most painful and there was immediate relief from the pain. The first two weeks of recovery were painful but since then I have been pain free! Dr. O'Leary and staff are always attentive but efficient. You get all the time you need...but they time visits appropriately so everyone is seen promptly. Highly recommend for total knee work!
Nurse callbacks inexcusable. One was rude/snarky. Other one NEVER returned call.
Exceptional service and knowledge of Orthopedic procedures and what was needed to repair/replace my knee. Very little down time after surgery and great rehabilitation.
I saw Dr.Rambo today and am having surgery next week. He has great bedside manner, was very positive that he could help me, and was very knowledgeable about ruptured disc in my back. He wants to help me get my life back without debilitating pain.
Dr. O'Leary has replaced both knees (one total and one partial). In both cases the results were better than I could have hoped for. I went from very little mobility walking with a cane to brisk walking within just weeks of both surgeries. I would return to Dr O'Leary if any further surgeries are needed.
