I have been a patient of Dr. O'Leary's for the past 7 years. He always takes to time to answer questions and ensure that I understand all of my options. I had total knee replacement on 13 Oct 2014. I was doing so well that I went back to work in less than 3 weeks. I have had an amazing experience with Dr. O'Leary and his staff. I am scheduled my other knee to be replaced during 2015. Dr. O'Leary is exceptionally competent, knowledgeable, conscientious, thorough, and empathetic. He is an attentive listener and involves the patient in making an informed decision with respect to multiple treatment options. Dr. O'Leary successfully performed a torn meniscus surgical repair on my left knee in 2012. Currently he is providing me with injections to "lubricate" the joints in both knees with the goal of preventing/decreasing the need for total knee replacement surgery in the future. He performed meniscus surgery on my knee in 2010. I was very pleased with him and his staff. I returned in 2014 for complete total knee replacement. Very pleased. The only disappointment was when I asked if everyone associated with the surgery war covered under my insurance I was told yes. In the end the anesthetist was not and I ended up with a large bill. This has no bearing on the surgeon. Would recommend him to all my friends.
Dr. O'Leary was very patient with an unsure patient - me! I am grateful for his expertise and personable manner!
bring a lunch if you come and see him. Too focused on scheduling too many patients - average wait time for normal appointment is 1- to 1/12 hours just to get back to a room, then another 20-30 minutes in the room.
Professional, knowledgable and personable. I'd recommend Dr. O'Leary to anyone. Also his nurses are fabulous. Loved them all.
