I went to Dr. O'Leary after I tore my ACL, and I am very happy with how my surgery and recovery went. Dr. O'Leary is very good at what he does and was encouraging and optimistic throughout my recovery.
I recently had a partial knee replacement done by Dr O'Leary. The results were much better than expected. The pain that I had before surgery is completely gone, within a couple of weeks I was able to walk comfortably and without using a cane. Before the surgery he went over what would be done and prepared me well so that I knew what to expect. Dr. O'Leary has replaced both knees (one total and one partial). In both cases the results were great. He's very attentive before and after surgery.
Dr. O'Leary listens to what you have to say and will discuss your problem with you. He gives you the feeling that he cares about your well being. He is great! He performed a complete knee joint replacement on me and the results are excellent.
Dr. O'Leary is very professional, personable, and engaging. He knows his craft well and is a skilled surgeon. A lot of orthopedic docs have a proclivity to be cocky and arrogant, not this guy. After my pec tear repair, I was left with a barely noticeable scar in the upper pec/delt tie-in, and I only had pain the day after the surgery and no pain at all since then. My recovery has been smooth and anticlimatic. His office staff has been professional and polite every encounter. I highly recommend him for your orthopedic needs.
Dr. James O'Leary has done several surgeries on me and all were very successful . I am very pleased with my total new knee replacement and have excellent and complete mobility now. I trust Dr. O'Leary completely with my care and he will replace my second knee down the road. I would only trust him to do my next surgery. His knowledge and understanding is comforting . Dr. O'Leary has performed surgery on both knees. Total replacement on the first one, partial on the second. Both results have been good, but the second (partial) has been exceptional. Dr. O'Leary coached me through/into the partial alternative. He has always been thorough in explaining alternatives and advantages/disadvantages.
I had a total shoulder replacement and I am beyond thrilled! Dr. O'Leary is wonderful at communication and a craftsman in the operating room. I'm now able to have a better quality of life and I stayed with my rehab which really helped. I'm so pleased with the results!! Thank you Dr. O'Leary!
My overall experience was awesome. He is an excellent doctor whom cares about his patients. His staff was awesome. Very helpful.
