AWESOME Doctor
He listened to me and we talked about me starting a walking distances . He is a very friendly doctor And we talked about retirement my recent.
Had right hip done in 2019 & now getting ready for left one done in 4 days. Would not want anyone else to do my surgery. Even the surgeon I was seeing in my town of Ft Payne said that Dr Flanagan was the best for hip replacement.
I am a physician and wanted a surgeon who would give the the best chance of recovery. I had my hip replacement with an anterior approach and was walking up the stairs for PT after I woke up that day. First several weeks were hard but about the third week the pain and stiffness were less and after a month I could sleep the whole night. I am 3 and a half months out and doing well. Thank you Dr. Flanagan!
I was apprehensive about hip replacement. Although I prayed about it and was trusting God to get me through it. I was in the hands of the best doctor possible to do the surgery. I had no issues and my recovery far surpassed what I could ever imagine. God blessed me with Dr. Flanagan.
I had a TKR well over a year ago and pain is worse than ever. I never get any relief and wish I’d never had Dr Flanagan perform the surgery. At all my followup visits I reported the continuing pain to him but he continued to just take one x-ray after another and proclaim the surgery was a complete success. The final visit ended with him dismissing me as a patient because he didn’t believe I was still in pain.
