She prescribed drugs that cause my husband to have a life threatening drug reaction. Even though he told her it wasn’t working. She’s also perpetually late. But complains that patients are the ones that should wait for doctors. Avoid if you can.
Just want to say my daughter went to see Dr. Zando for a bad cough at the Credit Valley Health Centre in Mississauga. The nurse did all the checking, and even got the inhaler etc for my daughter. Then she asked her to wait to see the Doctor. After 45 minutes, the nurse came back and said, Oh you are still here? I'll get the Doctor. Dr.Zando finally came, in ten seconds approved the nurses diagnosis and medications, and then said, 'Oh it looks like you have acne.' She should have her license taken away from her! I do plan on calling the Canadian medical association. Took my dad to see her on the 21st - to get his heart test results. According to dr zando there did appear to be an irregular heart beat. Asks my dad do you have any chest pains? Shortness of breathe of dizzy spells? He said no not at all. I am not a judgmental person, but I feel compelled to review Dr Zando in the hope that others will be spared this bad experience. I honestly don’t think I have ever met anyone as rude, arrogant, disrespectful and self important as this woman. She is an abhorrent human being. She boasts about being able to see 50 patients per day, which smacks of minimal care, maximum charges. I've been going to different clinics because 2 years ago when a blood vessel in my eyeball burst, I went to see Dr. Zando at her old clinic only to find they had moved 5 months prior...and I was never informed. And then when it came time for my long awaited (10 months) appointment for a sleep specialist to do my study and I had left work to go to the hospital, I was told I never confirmed my appointment (and therefore it was cancelled) because her office never forwarded me the specialist's office messages. I went to Dr. Iram for getting my painful skin rashes treated which were getting worse despite 3 weeks of visit to my family doctor who referred me to a Dermatologist (appointment to see him after 2 months). It didn't took long for her to diagnose and start treating me and here I am back to normal in a week. Thanks Dr. Iram, we are lucky to have your clinic in our area.
After moving to Canada, this was our first experience with any doctors here. We taken our 4.5 year old son to this clinic as it’s very close from our home. After 2 hours of wait when finally it was our turn, we were shocked to see the way she didn’t even check our son who is on the spectrum. And she asked “what’s with him ? Is he autistic ?” . When we said yes , she said we should have told her earlier & didn’t even check him & just gave us a prescription. Never ever going to this rude lady .
I met Dr Zando very first time as walk in patient for little complicated issue. Her diagnosis was absolutely perfect and I was treated well. I kept following up with her because of her professionalism and love and care for patient. On my every visit she showed the same kindness and love to me. I have full trust in her and ways of treatment.
