I have been seeing Dr. Hool for Stage IV Lung Cancer for a bit over three months. During that time, I have seen him in person and by telehealth, and have also had him call me during "off hours" when I had issues arise. Dr. Hool really knows his stuff. In addition, he is very caring, has a good sense of humor, and a great "bedside manner." I recommend him heartily!

I would not be here today if not for the excellent care that Dr. Hool provided to me. I cannot say enough good things about him, but I will try to provide a few thoughts: Dr. Hool is a fantastic physician and communicator. He is extremely knowledgeable and competent, as well as very compassionate. He has a calm demeanor yet instills confidence. He is a good listener who can be assertive if need be. Excellent doctor. His knowledge and care is saving my life. I have had metastatic lung cancer for five and a half years. I was diagnosed with 4th stage cancer (lung and brain) and given 2 months to live. This was in December of 2013. With Radiation treatments on my brain and a strong chemo pill I was able to have a life. Doctor said I was a miracle.

Doctor Hool was recommended by my primary care physician, and if I am ever in a position to recommend a Hematologist, Doctor Hool will be the first doctor I recommend. Doctor Hool has been my doctor for 2.5 years with nothing but positive and good experiences. He explains things in simple terms, always follows up with me and shares information on upcoming new treatments that may be available to me. My wife and I are both very happy with Doctor Hool and the entire staff at Cancer Care Assoc.
