Dr Brewer treated me for many years in Knoxville. He is very friendly, loves humor and I even laugh at his jokes. He is very thorough and attentive. Sometimes it is hard to get to see him because everyone wants him to treat them. My wife and I owe him a lot for what he's done for us. Beaman, Knoxville
Saw the doc 45 minutes late, even though I arrived 15 min early. Appointment rushed. Doc is not very friendly and does not really project that he cares about his patient. Medically I can not complain, but his manner is terrible.
Dr. Brewer was extremely rude and dismissive in my office appointment. I had a recent cardiac event where I was in the hospital. In my follow-up office appointment, he told me that I would need to tell him what happened at the hospital because he has a lot of patients and he can't keep up with all of them. This came after waiting 1.5 hours to see him. I'm not sure who's fault it is that he has too many patients, but I am fairly sure it isn't his patients' fault. Rudeness and unprofessionalism are not acceptable and shouldn't... read more
I am sure Dr. Brewer is a great dr. But making appointment at 9:30 and still waiting to see the Dr at 11:00 is absolutely disrespectful! I would like to leave a good review but the amount of time the man makes you wait is ridiculous! If there is a doctor out there that can keep an appointment time, he/she would have more business and I would definitely use them. His bedside manner is something else. I am not a fan. No eye contact. This may be our last visit. Now he can’t remember doing the procedure on my husband. We will de... read more

Love love, love this man! He is a wonderful person as well as a wonderful doctor.mm
Dr. Brewer was my cardiologist for many years. Waiting time was ridiculous. 1 to 2 hours. He sent me to a specialist. After I returned, he wanted ME to call the specialist and verify test results. Why didn’t he call? I called to report what the specialist said, the nurse said he noted it on my chart. I want to know what other test I needed. She said, you can just ask him at your next appointment. I told her, I just saw him. Then he called me and basically fired me because I asked questions.
Dr. Brewer was very attentive and was not afraid to consult with other doctors about my condition. He is very professional and he saved my life! I will always be grateful to this man for what he did for me. My confidence in him is 100 percent! He is the best!
