He explained in detail my xray and the problems with my knee.. Told me what happens before and after surgery and made sure I understood what he had explained.
Doctor explained condition well and gave his recommendation of cortisone shot put me at ease. If I go back will definitely reaquestvhim
I chose Dr Tocks based on the reviews. There were correct. Dr Tocks is very good at his job Initial visits were carefully explained as I went thru several injections and exercises before the inevitable became apparent; I needed a knee replacement. The procedure was clearly explained along with the possible difficult and extended recovery period. Entire process is smooth and efficient. All staff are respectful of your time in accomplishing what’s needed for your appointment on any given day.
And I have had both of my hips replaced by Dr. Tocks one in 2019 and the other in 2023. The anterior procedure is the only way to go. My results are off the charts amazing and my scars are very minimal. His bedside manner is very reassuring, and his talent as a surgeon is complemented with great staff. I would highly recommend him as a surgeon, and at minimum as a second opinion.
Wonderful, informative, caring, answers all questions and makes nurses and PA available for questions through recouping, etc… Love the team!
Dr Tocks is that rare combination of excellent surgeon and great bedside manner. He and his office are extremely professional and caring.
He is very professional and clearly good at his profession… but also down to earth. Clear in his explanations. Personable…open for questions…also has a sense of humor which my husband and I like:)
Dr. Tocks and his staff were very proficient and personable. Although there were many things to accomplish prior to the surgery, the staff did an amazing job walking me and my spouse through the process. Dr. Tocks called me the evening before my surgery to make sure I was ready for the morning's surgery and if I had any remaining questions - Sunday evening no less!
