dr. belnap, i find, is always an attentive listener, asks pertinent questions, gives direct answers and recommendations, and seems to care without treating me like a child. his office staff have always been quite helpful and are are always calm, quiet and respectful. dr. belnap has a good knowledge of medication. after years of struggling with other doctors who didn't have a clue of the medications i needed, i have finally found a doctor who has been able to prescribe for me and get me feeling good again.
Kind, professional and friendly. Very knowledgeable. Efficient with Med refills. I have been a patient for almost 2 years.
I feel he does not engage in discovering more about me and he does not seem to ask probing questions. At times my visit has been rushed, even though it has been a regularly scheduled visit.
I am so glad I found him. We had a while where we needed to tune in my medications, and ultimately he was able to dial it in wonderfully. I can't say enough about how much he's helped me and my family. He is a master at finding the right combination, and that is hard... 25 years of seeing Dr's brought me here.
I highly recommend Dr Belnap. And I do to everyone who has this type of need. He has been very helpful in guiding me through the process of finding a medication that works for my depression and anxiety. I have had some very unpleasant side effects from antidepressants in the past and I was just roaming around crippled by depression, afraid to try anything new. Dr Belnap is a great psychiatrist! I am confident in him and his ability to help me with anxiety and depression which I have had for years. He also helped me through the illness and death of my daughter. He is kind and generous. I would like more time in counselling. His office staff is helpful, warm and friendly!
