Dr. Girasole did my spine surgery. He is patient, he is kind, he listens, he cares. When I met him I was in excruciating pain, couldn’t even walk, I was miserable. He explained everything in details as I was a 5 year old.. took care of me.. I’m back to work and I’m so grateful with him. Dr. Girasole and Mintz are a dream team.
I originally saw Dr. Girasole for a second opinion. Much to my dismay, he agreed with my previous doctor and said I needed surgery. He was very direct and to the point, but very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and pleasant. I got the feeling that he is a man who loves what he does. I decided that he would be my surgeon, and I have no regrets. He and Dr. Mintz (neurosurgeon) did a wonderful job. I met Dr . Girasole in 2011 when he performed my thoracic fusion surgery. I have a long history of back issues. Dr. Girasole has always been very conservative in reaching that a surgical solution was best, always has your best interests and thoroughly explains pros and cons to suggested surgery. Unfortunately i have had several accidents combined with disc deteriation, osteoarthritis and scoliosis.
