Dr. Shockey has been my primary physician for 10+ years. I find him to communicate clearly and to be very helpful and understanding. I've never felt rushed or like he was too busy to spend time with me if I had questions he makes time to answer them. Since he started his own practice and moved to Brown the experience is 100% improved.
This doctor was recommended to us by our long time doctor who along with his partners was dissolving their practice. I went to him once and never plan to go back. I waited forever to see him and felt like I was on an assembly line. I felt as though he talked down to me. He made numerous negative comments regarding our former doctor's practive. Didn't want to see my file of almost 30 years nor my husband's who has numerous ailments. Wanted to start fresh. I am sure he has good intentions but I won't hang around to see.
