A very well run practice. The staff is personable and know how to bill correctly. Dr. Shockey is a very nice doctor and knows his medicine. You can relax and know that you are in the best patient care.
The guy is an egotistical anal sphincter. He has no tact or sense of propriety.
I am so disappointed, and frankly disgusted, at how I was treated today. Not one of my concerns was addressed, I was not even examined. I spent over half of my appointment listening to this "doctor" talk about things unrelated to why I was there only to be told "We only schedule 15 min appts, if you want to discuss other stuff you will need to schedule another appointment." I went to the doctor because I am genuinely concerned about my health, not to be dismissed and sent away. Unacceptable.
AS A CAREGIVER FOR MY MOM 93 WHO HAS HEALTH ISSUES AND NEEDS ATTENTION I HAD TO ASK FOR A EXCUSE FOR JURY DUTY," HE REFUSED" AND I WAS TOLD TO GO TO MY OWN DR FOR THE EXCUSE... I AM NOT HIS PATIENT BUT MY MOM, HE HAS SEEN ME WITH HER THIS PAST YR FOR VISITS. I AM THE ONE WHO DRIVES HER TO ALL HER APP AND TAKE CARE OF HER NEEDS, OF WHICH HE IS AWARE.. I WAS VERY UPSET WITH HIS REFUSAL AND WITH THIS INDIFFERENT TREATMENT WILL NOT HAVE MY MOM AS A PATIENT.
What an amazing experience I have had every time I have been to see Dr Shockey, he takes enough time to go over my problems and always gives the right diagnosis to make me feel better. One morning I slammed my finger in the car door he was kind enough to see me and sew my finger up what a great Dr. His staff are one of the best always happy to accommodate you in whatever you need I visit Nicole Hawkins as well what an awesome young lady.
I have a recurring kidney problem and normally see Nicole Hawking, Dr. Jerry Shockey's PA, due to the fact I could not get speedy treatment a year ago the infection went to an eColi in the blood system and was hospitalized and under treatment for over 6 weeks. My admonishment was ''contact our office immediately and do not delay treatment in the future." As long as your issues are status quo I suppose Shockey and his office are ok. But when asking his office to assist with the coordination of my care and assist in obtaining medical records from a specialist things got crazy and resulted in Dr Shockey telling me that he and his staff were doing me a service. He wouldnt even allow me to talk. Who wants a doctor that wont listen? NOT ME
