Dr Balfour and his staff are Awesome! I had an injured thumb (trigger finger) for over a year and the surgery I had from Dr Balfour FIXED IT!!! I can finally move my thumb AND NO PAIN!! I can't say enough about how amazing (and funny) he is and what a great doctor (and I've had over 19 surgeries in my Life so I know surgeons, good and bad). The one star review is ridiculous, the staff, Linda, Dr George and all are wonderful! Would totally return, although I don't expect to have to.

I trust him completely. Explains everything . He's a little gruff and short with his replies... but I went to him for results not to make a new friend.

Seen all the bad reviews and went in with an open mind. I have to say that ALL the reviews were spot on regarding Dr. Balfour. As a new patient, I would expect a doctor to introduce themselves. I would also expect them to ask questions and to actually listen to patient concerns. There wasn't any privacy and could overhear the conversations in other rooms. I think the doctor had a buzzer in his pants limiting his time in the rooms to 5 minutes or less. How can you give quality care when you have a least 4 to 5 patients waitin... read more

I fractured my hand and had to see Dr Balfour to get a cast. Only had it on for 3 weeks and when I returned to get it removed he told me to wait one month before returning to any full contact sports. I told him I play roller derby and asked if I can continue to endurance skate. From that point forward he acted as though I was an idiot for ever wanting to play derby again. He sent me on my way without a follow up x-Ray and no information as to how my break was healing. I called back a couple weeks later to get my clearance da... read more

After breaking my left radius 8 years prior that was repaired by another surgeon with a plate/screws, almost immediately after recovery and P/T, I develped pain weakness in my left hand grip and arm to my shoulder. Complained over the years and got more physical therapy, where I was told that "I" was not doing enough! I kept pressing my GP for a resolve. Was finally sent out of network to see Dr. Balfour. First thing he said that some people do not do well with the plate/screws, and said I may want to consider having them re... read more

I had surgery for a severely comminuted fracture of the left wrist from a bicycle accident. A titanium plate and six screws were inserted. This was a very delicate surgery. I had no pain after surgery in the hospital although he commented I would be hurting. I could have went home that evening instead of staying overnight. Years later, I have no problems with my left wrist although he commented that I am candidate for arthritis. Although I have read negative reviews here, he did an outstanding job for me. It couldn't have be... read more

WOW lets start with how bad the front desk is the two ladies who work their have a bad attitude and are always talking on the phone or either on their cell phones playing videogames. I went over to ask them a question and they pretty much gave me mouth they had no manors at all! I had to wait a bit but that wasn't a issue if the two front desk people didn't make my visit so awful. I really dont recomonnd this place as long as they have the same rude people up front. Dr balfour was great and knew what he was doing just that f... read more
