Organized, detailed and caring physician
Dr Sutherland has performed knee replacement surgery on me and handled my issues with torn rotator cuff which hasn’t required surgery. Most recently he’s doing my follow up appointments from hip replacement surgery since my hip surgeon practices in Savannah but is Optim. He’s a great and knowledgeable surgeon.
Dr. Sutherland is the best. I went to see him for the first time with knee pain. He knew exactly what the problem was. The next day my pain was gone. I most definitely will be returning to him if any other problems arise.
Had a first time episode of severe disk degeneration and facet degeneration. Was in severe pain times 3 weeks . Put me on a med for a week. Already feeling less pain.

I saw Dr. Sutherland for what he determined to be a Frozen Shoulder. It was a very painful situation. He immediately reassured me that it was something that could be dealt with using a steroid injection and PT. The steroid injection was not painful and provided relief right away. Moreover, I was able to leave the office reassured that my condition was highly likely to improve without surgery. What a relief!
Dr. Sutherland took the time to clearly explain the results of my tests. He gave me different options to take care of my injury. He also made a recommendation. I was very pleased with him.
Dr Sutherland repaired both my biceps and it has been great. Highly recommend. Great at answering questions and understanding what’s happening with my injuries.
