Started with severe sciatica in January. Saw an orthopedic, who prescribed an MRI which showed severe degenerative discs. Was told to manage the pain as best you can. Received a cortisone shot which helped. Discomfort started coming back in March and after a couple of more visits to orthopedic Dr. and taking muscle relaxers I decided to visit Dr. Olson. After about eight active release treatment my pain has subsided substantially. Dr. Olson listens to your needs and the staff is warm and friendly. I highly recommend him.
I was involved in a car accident that left me having uncomfortable neck and back pain, I was in need of a chiropractor. I never really have been happy with traditional chiropractic care so I sought out alternative therapy and discovering A.R.T along with Dr. Olson. After a series of injuries traumatized my aging arthritic body I limped into Dr. Olson's office desperately seeking relief and hoping he'd be able to get me back on track to my former active life. Had a numbness in my finger, after a few visits it feels back to 100%. Great staff and very clean office
I found Dr. Olsen to be extremely ineffective and he was often trying to sell you more products and service than you actually needed, like back braces, injections etc.. Seemed more of a businessman than a medical professional. So long as you were making the co-payments, he would keep on scheduling you for appointments. Would not recommend him to anyone in the Commack, Smithtown or East Northport area.
Great experience, Dr. Olson got me back to 100% in a week.
Great relief!!! Finally found out why my back hurt so much. Had a herniated disc. Been seeing Dr. Olson for three months now and best thing I could of possibly done. Pain relief is at 90% I’m sure it will totally go away!!! He and his staff are awesome!!!!!
