While Dr. Pena clearly knows what he is talking about, his bedside manner is very poor. I have been "working with" him for the past 2 years and am still not satisfied. He appears to be annoyed whenever I see him in the office and does not listen to me at all. He denies the symptoms that I am clearly reporting to him and does not address them. His arrogance is not becoming and I am still in daily pain years after my injury despite surgery performed by him.
Dr. Pena performed surgery to my foot two weeks ago and I'm already walking without crutches. His attention to detail and skill level are remarkable. Combined with the overall talent of the TRIA team, I could not offer a stronger recommendation for him.
Dr. Pena treated my husband after he shattered both his heels. Dr. Pena came recommended by a colleague and we feel we received exceptional care. He challenged us to be positive, articulated what we could expect both pragmatically and compassionately and his staff was always available and best in class. Highly recommend.
