I'm sitting here with my healthy 7 month old son thanks to Dr. Sharara. We live in DC but I drove out to Reston for the small size and personal attention of his office. It was worth it to have every member of the staff know you and care. I have PCOS but got pregnant on my first try with IVF, miscarried at 9 weeks but then conceived again on my first FET with embryos remaining from the first IVF and had my son. I owe Dr. Sharara and his staff more than I'll ever know how to repay. I was trying to get pregnant for about 4 years. I had done timed coitus with clomid, 3 IUI's, and 2 IVF's, which were all failures. I had been to 2 other well known clinics in the DC area. Finding a Doctor’s office that offers the level of patient care that you will find at VCRMED is a rarity these days and they have certainly raised the bar for other offices. Dr. Sharara and his staff are amazing. They are truly the best! We first met with Dr. Sharara in December to discuss our options for getting pregnant and having a baby. He thoroughly answered many of our questions. After some preliminary testing, we officially started the IVF process in February. My husband and I have suffered multiple miscarriages over the past 3 years, but through Dr. Sharara's dedication and determination, we are expecting twins and so far everything looks great. As a career woman myself, I especially appreciated how prompt everyone in the office was. If your appointment is at 8:00, you're out of there by 8:15. My husband and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Sharara and his wonderful staff! We visited his clinic several years ago and have beautiful twins to show for it. Dr. Sharara is the most compassionate physician that I have ever had as a patient. I rated his staff as a 5 in particular because I had a wonderful experience with his nurses. He is very punctual, and he always made me feel like a person that he cared about - never as just one more patient. By nature, seeing a fertility doctor is pretty depressing - at least for me it was in the beginning - but I ended up looking forward to my appointments. Dr. Sharara runs an amazing practice. From the moment you arrive he makes the you feel informed and comfortable. He is honest and realistic and truly cares for his patients. You know when you arrive for an appointment or procedure that you will be seen on time and you will receive all the information that is needed to make you feel comfortable with what is happening.
