We did a lot of research (both online through the SART website and through word of mouth) before we decided to come to this practice and we made the right decision. Dr. Sharara (VCRM) has some of the best statistics in the D.C. area but it wasn't until we experienced some tough IVF rounds (including two miscarriages) that we realized how lucky we were to be working with Dr. Sharara and his warm and compassionate staff. at the initial consultation he reviewed my previous test results from my ob/gyn and gp and prescribed a diet plan and thyroid medicine. his diet plan was through a paid app that is severely lacking in features with some blatant inconsistencies. needless to say i was disappointed in it and the guidance. he also didn't bother to recognize my concerns with going on thyroid medicine even though my numbers were still considered in the "normal" range. my gp didn't feel comfortable putting me on it previously. he also mentioned i w... read more
I could not think of a better fertility clinic than The Virginia Center for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Sharara and his staff are very professional, courteous and punctual! His assistant nurse Jo is so loving and caring. Dr. Fady Sharara is amazing and I highly recommend him. We completed three fresh IVF cycles with him and each of those three cycles provided a healthy baby. This practice starts with a consultation and then testing on the man and then the woman. During the tests you won’t receive feedback until the final test is complete. Dr. Fady Sharara is both professional and passionate. My husband and I have been trying for almost two years with no luck. Dr. Sharara reviewed my medical history thoroughly and made treatment plans based on my personal condition. What an amazing doctor and medical staff! I was treated as a person, not just a patient. They always welcome you into the office by name and ask how your are doing. Dr. Sharara and his staff go above and beyond when taking care of their patients. From the moment, I stepped into the door I never felt like a number. Everyone greeted me by name and I never waited more than 5 minutes. I appreciated the promptness and the open lines of communication that I had with Sandy and Jo.
