I had terrible experience with him. I had one IVF with no single embryo left to transfer. My insurance covers 3 IVF cycles with 100% coverage, still I end up paying more than 10K since most of his services are out of network. For next cycle I choose shady grove with Dr. Doyle, now I’m pregnant with 5 healthy embryo’s remaining and my insurance covered all treatments. My sincere advice is to avoid this facility. Dr. Sharara and his entire staff are absolutely amazing!!! My husband and I were trying to conceive for quite a while. My journey began at a large clinic in Chicago where 1. I was just another name 2. I only saw my Dr. at the initial consultation, the retrieval, and transfer, 3. I'm writing this as an egg donor who has been through several donation cycles with VCRM. I didn't know exactly how horrible the environment was until I went elsewhere. In comparison, Sharara is not only condescending and somewhat misogynistic, but outright rude--both to his staff and clients. After experiencing three miscarriages in 18 months period, I started looking for Reproductive Specialist in the DC Area. I only have good things to say about Dr. Sharara and his team. 3.5 years ago I was referred to Dr Sharara after multiple miscarriages. With only a diet plan for my husband and I was able to bring to this world out beautiful baby girl who is now 2.5 years old. Dr. Sharara is an amazing person who is very thorough and to the point. He does all the tests and the results are reviewed with your partner for further proceedings. The diet plan he advises plays an important role, at least in my case. You have any question, call the doctor office and you will get the answer promptly.
