Staff is amazing Couldn’t be happier with my care that I had through my injury.
I met Dr. Dougherty in the ER. I had a very traumatic injury to my pelvis and he was the trauma surgeon on call. He and his staff provided the highest level of professional care for me through my surgery, hospital stay, and after care. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Dougherty and his team. He is a highly skilled surgeon who truly cares about his patients, which is manifested in his bedside manner. Very nice Understanding Answer all questions
Dr. Dougherty is one of the best doctors you could ever have. He is so compassionate. He truly cares about what’s best for his patient and he takes as much time as is needed, to explain everything. It’s comforting to know that when you have an orthopedic issue and you’re unsure of what’s next, that Dr. Dougherty is there is guide you every step of the way, with his excellent care. He also has a wonderful and very friendly team who make each visit run smoothly.

I had an unfortunate accident with a tree and ended up with a tibial plateau fracture. Two other "knee" doctors were unable to deal with my injury. I was referred to Dr. Dougherty due to the trauma of my case. I saw him one day and had surgery the very next day. He was on the ball and did a great job! At every follow up appointment he and his staff answered all of my questions and concerns.
I'm a paraplegic who fell while transferring from one chair to another and broke my femur...my Dr. highly recommended Dr. Dougherty at Good Sam in Hinsdale...and, now, I highly recommend Dr. Dougherty, also. He patiently answered all my questions and let me know what to expect. He's very personable and his team is just as awesome...I'm very impressed by Dr. Dougherty and also very thankful he was recommended.
We feel so fortunate that Dr Dougherty was on call the night my husband needed surgery to repair a broken femur following a fall at home. He took the time to make sure we understood what was going to happen in surgery and after discharge. Office visits were easy to schedule, office staff was wonderful as was the radiology staff. We highly recommend Dr Dougherty.
