I met Dr Dougherty in the emergency room after a fall had fractured my femur. Dr Dougherty installed a rod to my leg while another surgeon operated on my arm which had been injured in a previous fall. My leg healed while my arm did not. I returned to Dr Dougherty later to repair my broken arm. Both arm and leg are now completely healed. Dr Dougherty has a great bedside manner and was always compassionate. I fell and broke my femur. The ER set up a consultation with Dr. Dougherty and he saw me the same day. He said I needed surgery. I was very apprehensive but he put my mind a ease right away. He demonstrated where the break was and what he intended to do. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Surgery went well. I was a trauma patient with multiple injuries including a severely fractured right femur. I received immediate treatment and repair including two surgeries within 24 hours which were done by Dr. Daugherty. The care, treatment, and professionalism of Dr. Daugherty and his team were and continue to be outstanding. My family and I are very grateful.

After our 14-year old son broke his ankle, x-rays also showed a nonunion from a previous, undiagnosed injury. Surgery was required to insert screws on each side, and a followup surgery was necessary to remove the four screws. Having your child undergo surgery is scary, but my son, my husband, and I all had complete confidence in Dr. Dougherty from our first meeting. He was knowledgeable, confident, and reassuring, while explaining everything in detailed yet simple terms. We are thankful for Dr. D and highly recommend him!

I met Dr. doughtery through the ER, and I couldn't have been more lucky he was on call. He is the ultimate combination of caring, excellent bedside manner, and fantastic surgeon. His entire office team is friendly and calming. He takes his time explaining, and I never felt rushed. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Doughtery.

It was a positive checkup!!! The office took xrays today and took out the staples and stitches. Dr. Dougherty is the best!!! He knows what he is doing . He really cares about his patients!!!!!!! And so does his staff. They are all so caring people.

So appreciative of the fact that after emergency room I was fortunate to have Dr Dougherty operate on my fractured leg. His office and staff are wonderful and all have helped in a good recovery. Would not hesitate to recommend them to others.
