Great bedside manner! Straightforward as to condition and what has to be done. Exudes confidence but not arrogant. Would recommend him for sure!
Dr. Dougherty did surgery on our mother twice for broken bones in her leg. He is a gifted surgeon and a compassionate person who was able to use donor bones to repair a failed broken femur surgery due to osteoporosis. He made her leg strong enough to stand/walk again. He also repaired a broken tibia on the same leg. We would highly recommend him to anyone in need of this type of surgeon.

infected bursa sac ,treated with antibiotics by another Dr,finally sent to Dr Dougherty,who did surgery that took care of the problem.Re injury brought us back to Dr,who again prescribed the right treatment. Staff is caring, especially Laura.The entire staff is awesome and efficient

No one ever expects and emergency! I found myself with a broken leg from the dog park significant enough that I needed surgery. Dr. Dougherty was amazing. We were able to get into his office quickly and I was in surgery the following afternoon. His explanation of the surgery, report to my family after surgery and ALL follow up appointments were completed with professionalism, warmth and a tremendous knowledge.
