Dr.Bartel was very thorough in his explanation of my ankle injury and gave me a good option for recovery. He was involved and concerned.I left feeling very confident that all my concerns and questions were addressed.
I have been fighting an ankle issue for over a year and was recommended to Dr. Bartel. Sure glad! He takes the time to explain everything in great detail and makes me feel very comfortable and confident in my care. My only complaint was the 35 minute wait to be seen, but in all fairness they were struggling with computer problems, so this may not be the norm. Overall, really happy with Fox Vally Orthopedics!

I had surgery on my ankle and ANOTHER doctor injured it my nerves. I went to Dr. Bartel on the recommendation of a friend whose mom had surgery years ago. I am so glad I did! Dr. Bartel cleaned up a lot of scar tissue and repaired a few spots in my ankle and lower leg. He took the time to explain what was going on and how he would repair the damage. Dr Bartel was very informative. Recommend surgery. Unfortunately, he did a bad job & now my second toe is lifts higher than others & leans far away from my big toe & into others. When I asked him about it & the new pain I have He said it must be arthritis. No ther doctor will touch it. I am stuck with it for life.
Dr Bartel took the time to explain options and results. He also went through the X-rays, what was wrong with my ankle and causes.
Excellent start to finish in the clinic.
