I broke my ankle and was extremely stressed about my upcoming surgery. I feel so much better after meeting with Dr. Bartel. He was extremely kind, answered all of our questions and gave me a clear understanding what to expect post-surgery regarding recovery.
My visit with Dr Bartel was great, he explained my x-rays, answered all my questions and explained what I should expect going forward .
I was seeing an awful orthopedist who literally hung up the phone on me and was impossible to contact. She scheduled me for surgery, but she seemed sketchy and weird to me so I went to get a second opinion. I called Fox Valley Orthopedics, and they carefully took into consideration which doctor they thought I should see, and placed me with Bartel.
