Life altering experience.
I visited Dr Kron with a mangled left foot, from a construction accident. I let the foot heal with out medical help. Dr Kron rebuilt my foot and heal and promised there would be functionality and no PAIN. Not only could I walk , I could walk with absolutely no pain! Dr Kron is one Great Dr Podiatrist! His staff was very kind and attentive, and made me feel at home. Dr Kron did this surgery 10 years ago and I’m doing great. Thanks Doctor Kron.
Do not use this doctor unless you have absolutely no other choice. He is very proud that he is a doctor and makes you feel small to handle foot issues (calicum build up).
I had to wait 1 1/2 hours for my pre-op appointment because their med assistant had quit and they had no paperwork ready for me. Then, I was asked to provide EKG and blood work which I did. I called and asked several times am I good to go? Do they need anything else? And they said no I was good to go... 36 hrs prior to surgery they call and say they need me get an Echo Cardiogram. I got lucky and was able to get one at 7am the next morning. It was normal just like the rest of my results. Then at 3:21 pm, 16 hours prior to su... read more
Nice guy. Only good thing I can say. Performed Bunion Surgery in late 2018. Said 6 week recovery. Used boot and borrowed scooter from church. When bandages were removed, it looked like he had used a hatchet, not a scalpel. Said may be 6 month recovery, Next appointment it was changed to one year. Now, (41/2 years later) my foot is VERY cold and swollen. The bottom of the foot is somewhat rounded and creates a balance problem. I am in my late 70's and I don't want a broken hip. My PCP looked at it and shook his head. He asked... read more
Almost 4 years ago Dr Kron did ligament repair surgery on my right ankle and all went well. When I started having issues with my Achilles tendon this past November, I returned to him thinking it would be just as positive of an experience. Boy was I wrong! Every time I spoke with him, whether during visit or over the phone he said the opposite of the previous conversation. Had MRI and was told I'd need 2 surgeries for different issues, had to wait 3 weeks to know for sure. Went back and suddenly just one surgery. Was told the... read more
I would give 0 stars if I could. He is a salesman, not a doctor. He lied to me about potential risks, and recovery time. He didn’t offer all of the options to proceed, given my circumstances. I have since found a new doctor and upon reviewing my x ray, he simply said, “what did he do to you?”. Avoid this guy at all costs.
He did my bunion surgery. Now my second toe sits on top of my big toe. The second toe was perfectly normal before surgery. WTH. Looks like crap.
1/7/2020 This doctor is in it for the money! I saw Dr. Kron for a Morton's Neuroma. The 1st suggestions were shots. I had 2 shots. The charge was $1494.00 each time. My Insurance wouldn't pay for it calling it (experimental) so next was surgery. After surgery my foot got infected 2 times which Dr. Kron said it wasn't infected at all.. as it has yellow puss coming out of the top of my foot. Finally I demanded he send the puss off for a culture to be tested. So, he wiped out the puss and re bandage it. Results said staph!! Dr.... read more
