Dr. Ferkel is the best orthopedic doctor I have ever gone to. He takes his time explaining everything, comes up with solutions that aren't just bandaids, and really fights for his patients when it comes to insurance. I feel so incredibly lucky to have him as my orthopedic surgeon, and since seeing him is one of the first times in several years where I'm actually feeling optimistic about my future with walking and basic functions that have been hard for me.
I recently had a spinal fusion. Dr. Barcohana and PA Kishimoto are the best! I had the best treatment and am doing fantastic. He was so great with explaining everything and answering all my questions. I never had any doubts. I check around and everyone I spoke to said he was the best! I agree 100%. I am so thankful that I chose him. He is the best!! Top of his game!
I had Carpel Tunnel Relief Surgery on my left hand. Dr. Simic and all of his staff were outstanding. They were friendly and professional and made me feel I was in the best of care. My post surgery care was also outstanding . I highly recommend Dr. Simic and S.C.O.I.
Dr. Erfanian performed my surgery 2 weeks ago, he was very thorough in informing the steps and how I would feel after during recovery. Very satisfied with him and his staff. They have checking in to see how I feel frequently. My hand feels so much better already. Thank you!
Dr. Ferkel and the entire office at SCOI are amazing at explaining what they are going to do and doing so calmly. Everyone is lovely to talk to - I only wish I were coming under happier tidings. My surgery was successful and as soon as I developed a blood clot, they worked extremely quickly to make sure I got immediate care and it didn’t worsen.
I had to have a cervical fusion, both the Dr and his staff are friendly and professional.
Was certain post surgery was going to extremely painful but it simply wasn’t! His office does daily check ins which I find assuring! Feeling great

He orders appropriate testing, figures out a plan, explains clearly, makes a plan & takes care of the problem.
