After telling me that surgery isn't the answer for everything, Dr. Bonfenbrenner had me take some x-rays. When he looked at my x-rays he said, "Oh well, I don't even see how you can walk on a foot like this". I don't think jokiness in response to a person a patient's concern is appropriate. He showed a complete disregard for the pain I was and still am experiencing.

Saw this doctor at St. Luke’s North in an area near the back entrance off to the side. Something told me this wasn’t going to be the knowledgeable podiatrist I was looking to do a surgery that isn’t done all that often compared to some other surgeries like carpal tunnel surgery or in a podiatrist’s case, bunion surgery. He examined my ankle when my pain medication was working a little too well due to an interaction I think was from having the covid vaccine a few days before.
