I had Carpel Tunnel for years, Dr Shin is knoweledgeable and very competent. Had the procedure done in no time with minimal discomfort. and by the two week follow up I had trouble remembering the pain that brought me to him. He and his staff get five out of five stars!!!!!
Very personable. Explains everything very clearly. No pain after surgery. Incision is not even noticeable. It is amazing. Very highly recommend.
4 visits in total, two for nonsurgical treatments, visit #3 for to discuss and schedule surgery, and visit four for post op and discharge. Next to no time spent in waiting room, or in exam room. Dr Shin and Staff were respectful, efficient and courteous. Surgery was uncomplicated, hand is healing nicely. All medical doctors should copy Dr Shin’s patient care.

Dr. Shin recently treated me for a case of trigger finger in my right hand with trigger finger release surgery. My hands are very important to me as I am a professional working musician and music teacher in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Shin fixed it! I am good to go! Dr. Shin is an excellent surgeon and a very kind man. He and his team made the whole surgery process very easy. We are very lucky to have him here at St. Mary's hospital. I highly recommend him.
