DR. Shin has a very empathetic and comforting manner. He listens to your symptoms and explains your options in detail. Dr Shin performed carpal tunnel and trigger finger suregery on my hand. He explained exactly what to expect and the procedure went well with very minimal pain. I would certainly recommend this surgeon.
Dr. Shin is highly skilled and has a very comforting manner. He gives detailed information on his procedures and makes sure that the patient has all questions answered.
Dr. Shin explains what he will do for your hand and even drew a picture of what was going on with my trigger finger. He is very kind and considerate with his patients. He has a great bedside manner. I felt very comfortable with his procedure. I would highly recommend him to any one. The office staff were very friendly and helpful as well

Dr. Shin and his staff were both excellent. He understood the situation. He explained the problem, carpal tunnel syndrome, the procedure and looked to answer any questions. The staff handled all of the arrangements flawlessly. The procedure was done beautifully. Recovery has been easier than expected. I had adequate mobility in the hand for limited use a computer keyboard the next day. If you have a problem with tingling in your fingers, Dr. Shin and his staff will take excellent care of you.
I went to Dr. Shin for Carpal Tunnel syndrome of my right hand. He examined me & explained the procedure for surgery. I was well treated by Dr. Shin & hospital staff. My tingling & numbness went away! He really cares about his patients & has a listening ear. I felt great after surgery, minimal pain. I recuperated within 3 months after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Shin for anyone with hand & elbow problems.
Let me start by saying, Dr Shin is a very humble man. He absolutely listens and answers any questions or concern that you may have. I needed surgery for a broken wrist bone that would not heal. He identified and showed me exactly where the break was and what he would do to correct the problem. He also told me up front, that I would need a second surgery to remove the hardware that would help me heal. No surprises there! Surgery went perfectly both times. I would highly recommend Dr Shin!!!

I had a couple different people recommend me to Dr. Shin, including my primary care physician. I can see why. He explained my wrist and elbow problems very clearly to me. The care was top-notch. His staff was excellent. I am extremely appreciative of the care I received at the Hand Center. I recommend him highly!
