This review does not refer to Dr Ouellette, but to her office staff. On November 26, 2019, I went to go see the doctor due to a carpal tunnel diagnosis. At the time of paying for my visit, the office staff noticed that my personal information on my file was incorrect (name misspelled) and they fixed it before I left. I had an appointment today and had a medical situation to deal with. I called the office and asked if I could be a little late. They said NO. BUT IT WAS OK TO WAIT 3-4 hours in her waiting room on prior visits, AND OF COURSE SHE IS NOT WORKING THE NEXT TWO WEEKS so I would have to wait until next year after having this appointment since September. She may be a fine surgeon but there are certainly other doctors as good.
Anne Oullette performed three surgeries on my arm: shoulder, elbow and wrist, as part of a medical study she was conducting. I was stunned when I learned she intended to operate on my elbow and wrist, as I had no problem with them. She convinced me I would be better off with all three surgeries simultaneously. I received no benefits from the wrist and elbow surgeries, which were unnecessary. The scar tissue she removed in my shoulder grew back within a few months.
Dr. Ouellette is extraordinary. I wouldn't go anywhere else in the world. She performed difficult surgeries in my both hands and the results were fantastic.
She was highly recommended to me. The staff was professional. Unfortunately I did not see the doctor. I left after two and half hours of waiting.
The best anyone could dream of, patient kind fantastic as a medical doctor, yes, she needs a top notch staff, and I am sure she will create one.
Dr. Ouellette is an outstanding surgeon, explained in detail my options and her recommendations, and relieved me from my bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome. I highly recommend this doctor.
Dr Ouelette is a fine doctor with a poorly managed front office. On a post- op visit we were told that we did not have an appointment. After we showed the appointment card, we were told that they could not see us for at least an hour and a half. When we asked to speak with the Dr, the front office manager refused to contact her. We could not speak to her and he could not. We drove an hour plus down and back.
Elizabeth Anne believes it is perfectly O.K. to keep patients waiting hours beyond their appointment time. I left after cooling my heels for over 1 1/2 hrs without seeing her. Her game, of course, is to make sure she has not even a minute of down time despite the major inconvenience to patients. This is rude. and an insult to patients. The canned excuses by her staff..ie., emergencies, consultations taking longer than expected, etc.. don't cut it. She is never early for an appointment, so thid i
