I felt like he had little time and that he was annoyed.Id had an MRI and he said he found nothing in it to suggest the symptoms I was having. The way he said it that put me on the defensive. I asked what I could do for the bad back pain, and he said I should get injections to see if it would calm it down, with no explanation of why that was a good idea. When the person called to schedule it I told them Im on prodaxa and they were shocked. Said they had to get my cardiologists approval.

This is my FIRST_EVER review, but my experience with Dr. Finkelstein felt important enough that I want to let everyone know. I had four visits with him and every time I saw him, I felt guilty for having the pain….as if I am burdening him for helping me with the injury. If you have a question during the appointment, be sure to bring your thick skin, because he WILL make you feel bad for asking. And god help you if you want to discuss possible scenarios about what might be going on with your body

Dr. Finkelstein was recommended as the physician I needed to see was booked. Although he was not the type of physician I needed to see, he has been by far the most helpful. He went out of his way to get me appointments that Emory didn't feel I needed for over a month after telling me I probably have some type of brain issue. My stress level was very high and Dr. Finkelstein put me at ease, read my MRI and explained the possibilities of the other doctor's ideas. He and his staff were amazing

Didn't get to finish my new patient forms before I was sent for x-rays, and Dr. Finkelstein only looked at the x-rays before giving a recommendation and ending the visit. He never looked at anything I wrote down, didn't ask about my history, and clearly wanted to be somewhere else the whole time. I was really looking forward to this appointment and I'm so disappointed in how I was treated.
