I am disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience and this office performance. A month after seeing they couldn’t get authorization through insurance. Months two….three…. six went by and I called biweekly to be updated. Rarely they would return a call and I would need to call again. They continuously blamed insurance. Insurance assured me they were awaiting and lacking documentation. At month five they advised me that I should come back in to the office, which would have additional charges to be reassessed. His staff is super nice, but after promising me he would correct the swelling and I could stop wearing the compression stocking they were no help in correcting my problem. Nice people but bad results for me. After vein ablation and several trips for injections my leg is still swollen, they now tell me to wealth compression stocking, back nowhere I started . Dr. Mackay spends a lot of time explaining the different procedures and vein disease. He has an amazing bed side manner and all of his staff is wonderful and friendly! I am very pleased with my office experience and my legs are feeling MUCH better!
I came to Dr Mackay for a second opinion because family members trust him. Another vein doctor recommended many surgeries. Dr Mackay said they were not warranted.
