Dr. Vliegenthart is very attentive and thorough in his examinations. He tells you like it is and does not mess around. He also spends as much time with a patient that is needed for you to understand your care.
Best Doctor I have encountered in the past 10 years that I have been dealing with back pain.
I was having a problem with bursitis in my left hip. A friend of mine suggested that I see Dr Vliegenthhart a doctor who had helped her with a back problem. Trusting that this doctor was experienced with bursitis problems, I made an appointment and he suggested that I get a cortisone cocktail shot for my hip. Since the shot I have had leg pains. Wondering if it were a side effect, I called several times and no one ever responded. I am very disappointed and still in pain.
In 1987 I had a horrible compound fracture of my elbow, wrist and also had the infection that causes gangrene Dr.Vliegenhart tried to save my arm when no other doctor would have and I am now 37yo and have absolutely no problems with my wrist hand elbow or shoulder. I have been looking for him for years to thank him and let him know how great my arm is still doing. I would recommend him to anyone. He has a wonderful bedside manner and is an amazing surgeon.
