Dr. V is the best. He is always straight forward with a diagnosis and treatment options. I highly recommend First Choice Medical Group for any and all orthopedic needs. I have been a patient there for 4 years and don't mind driving 30+ miles to see them.
Dr. V and his Nurse Practitioner Are very good at their job. They explain the process of healing and are very thorough in the diagnosis process.
I've been seeing Dr. V for over 6 years and I cannot see myself using another ortho specialist. I moved from Melbourne to Cape Coral and drive 3.5 hours for my visits...that's how much I trust him. He's one of the most caring doctors I've ever been to and he definitely knows his "stuff".
My husband has been a patient of Dr. Vliegenthart for a few years now and we have to state.... He is the best in every aspect!! Kudos to his Medical Assistant Valerie for her dedication to patients?? What a team! Way to go FCMG.... Wonderful Practice!!
Dr. V's staff, specifically his assistant, is rude, insulting, and unprofessional. There is a severe lack of communication. The treatment plan was not discussed. We had no idea a series of shots would be needed. Dr. V. couldn't wait a few extra minutes for anesthesia to work after I waited, for the second time, for over an hour to be seen. Dr V was very attentive. He took time to talk to me. I’m a big baby when it comes to pain. He was very gentle during the procedure. And I so appreciate him. He’s been a God send for me.
This doctor was a "no show" yesterday. The appt was made about 4 wks ago after I was injured & an MRI revealed the reason for the pain so I was referred to him. It was the soonest they could fit me in they said, & I was asked to arrive at 9:15 for a 9:30 appt. I was taken to an exam room (shortly after 10) across from his office, where I could see he was working. He even went to get coffee after being told I was his next patient by the nurse. By 10:50 I left to get back to work. Still in pain.
