My experience with Dr. Dmitry Byk was very disappointing and emotionally distressing.He lists Russian as one of the languages he speaks, but he does not actually speak or understand it. Throughout my life, I have consulted with many doctors, but not many as honorable, hard working and professional as Dr. Dmitry Byk of Aventura, Florida. While modern society sometimes portrays such a derogatory and negative image of medical professionals, it has been quite refreshing to interact with someone like Dr. Byk. His enthusiasm, integrity and unselfish commitment to his patients has been a great inspiration to me. So please accept this letter as a display of my gratitude for his untiring efforts and guidance.
Dr. Byk is the absolute best!!! His office is easy to find, in the aventura hospital compound. The office is clean, covid compliant and very clean. The ladies in the office are wonderful and polite, he was an absolute find. The scheduling system is easy and very practical with the reminders and confirmations done via text. I really appreciate the fact that he is punctual and does not double book.
I don't understand the negative reviews. I read them but it wasn't my experience. If you go to a doctor with the expectation that he's going to give you what you want then of course you're not going to be happy. Dr Byk explained things to me and told me stuff that I didn't know. Then recommended treatment I didn't consider. Now I feel better.
Dr. Byk was very thorough in his review of my condition. He told me what I should and shouldn't expect from my treatment and was very nice and knowledgeable. He even referred me to another provider to help with other part of treatment. I was offered a telemedicine appointment in the future so I didn't have to come back in person which is great in these times. Not a lot of psychiatrists have this service! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Byk is thorough and conscientious. He is highly knowledgeable and willing and able to answer any questions you may throw at him. I like him because he caters his treatments to the unique circumstances of the patient and does not provide a “one size fits all” approach to his practice. I highly recommend
I absolutely loved Dr. Byk as my psychiatrist. He was able to see that I was misdiagnosed in the past as I am not bipolar. I suffer from BPD so the medications made my condition worst. He listened to me and was very helpful in suggesting way to better my life. He was the only doctor that did not want to feed me all kinds of drugs and it was amazing to be able to live my life without them. He suggested cognitive behavioral therapy instead of medications and it has helped me live a more fulfilling life. Highly recommend him.
