All the staff were wonderful, caring, professional yet personable all the time ready to answer any question I had. The entire office was efficient and moved me through the appointment without unreasonable and expected delay. The two people that stood out above all were Veronica and Cindy Reinert. Dr. YONEKAWA was professional, focused, and all the ready to answer any question I might have.
This was my first time seeing Dr Yonekawa. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He really explains things well. He listened to my concerns, performed a thorough examination and immediately put in place a treatment plan. In fact, I had my first treatment that day. I was at risk for a retinal tear, and he performed a laser treatment that day to mitigate that risk. He and the nurses explained everything ahead of time in detail. I had vitreous detachments on both of my retinas about 18 months ago. Laser surgery was performed on the left eye for a retinal tear. I stilI have occasional floaters on the repaired eye but otherwise my vision is excellent. I now go for periodic checkups to make sure everything continues functioning properly. I believe I am receiving the best possible care. Dr Yonekawa is always friendly and seems to really enjoy helping people.
This entire staff is excellent - from the folks checking patients in all the way to the Doctor actually supervising my treatment. This is an A plus experience. The Doctor (Dr.Yonekawa) is caring and concerned — and thoroughly professional in every way. The staff working with Dr. Y are also extremely professional and very organized and efficient in everything they do. Dr Yonekawa is one of the very few ROP specialists in this region. I feel fortunate to have him as my physician. He is excellent!
I was recently diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy. Everyone in your Cherry Hill office was great. Staff is excellent.
My right eye vision suddenly became blurry and wavy. Dr. Yonekawa immediately reacted and explained how an eye injection would restore my vision. His explanations were thorough and easily understood. My right eye vision is restored and I’m grateful for Dr. Yonekawa’s support and expertise.
Many thanks to Dr. Yonekawa and his excellent staff for a job Very well done. I especially enjoyed meeting Kay, a Sweetheart of a lady :)
