He did an excellent job on my tarsal tunnel release. After surgery I could feel my toes. I got almost full function back! My scaring is minimal too! My physical therapy was my paddle board and I would have never been able to do that without him. He has Great bedside manner and very caring.
I have been very pleased with dr. Schafer with his honesty, ie: my wrist fx, surgery, recovery, choices. Excellent bedside manner. Would recommend him for any upper extremity surgery, care
I am writing this to save people time and momey. He Walked into room after x-ray, showed me x-rays on his phone! The room had no professional equipment, short exam, said my hip was gone needed replacement, but he doesn't do surgery even though listed as orthopedic surgeon. Then referred me to surgeons in Orlando when there are capable ones right here in Titusville.
