I saw Dr. Vansickle for lower back surgery. He was very attentive to my concerns. Very thorough in explaining all aspects of the procedure. He and his surgery staff were incredible in all aspects of the process. The surgery was successful and left me pain free with total mobility.
Very poor communication when the DBS he preformed last year on me failed and left me worse than pre surgery. The true character of a person is not in how they react to success, but how they respond to the challenges of failure.
Seriously you saved my quality of life! I’m back up and walking and getting what used to be my life back! Dr. Vansickel and his team are the best! Seriously thank you guys!
I had a sudden onset of peripheral neuropathy and also ongoing sciatica. Images showed that I had spinal stenosis. Because my wife works in surgery at various hospitals in the Denver Metro area, her O.R. contacts told her that Dr. VanSickle is the best surgeon around. They were right! Dr. VanSickle performed a lumbar laminectomy on me on April 8, 2021 and my sciatica and neuropathy are totally gone. Dr. David Vansickle has been wonderful. In surgery yesterday afternoon for PCSF Surgery. Out of surgery late afternoon, and have had zero pain. It is now noon the following day. Up and mobile without assistance by 7:00am this morning. Eating anything I want. No residual previous pains. All gone. Bvery happy, and going home today. Thank you Dr. Vansickle. You have given me back the life I was hoping for.
I had DBS for Essential Tremor. I was on medication that made me very tired with a poor quality of life. The tremor was getting worse even with increasing the medication. I met Dr. Van Sickle, Aug. 2019. We had a very informational talk with no pressure to do the procedure. Nov. 2019 I had the brain surgery followed by the generator placement a few weeks later. We tried to come to Dr. Vansickle for DBS - for treatment resistant OCD. My son needs this desperately and suffers each and every day without help. We were told we needed to speak with Lori, his coordinator, and the staff said she would call. Well, she didn't. Days went buy, I left multiple messages for her, no call-back.
