As a patient with multiple orthopedic surgeries needing to be done after my 1st accident- I was sent to the big, advertised everywhere, "assembly line" type of practice initially. Unfortunately from there I had 2 major surgeries that failed- and then I heard about Dr. Heeringa! I set up an appointment for him to evaluate my shoulder and knee - and within a years time, he had gone in and cleaned up the mess and fixed my previous surgeons damage. Dr Heeringa did my shoulder replacement surgery and most recently my hip replacement surgery. He is a very good surgeon but also very compassionate. I had seen other orthopedic surgeons before, but none had the comforting bedside manner that Dr Heeringa does. He cares about you as a patient and what he can do to help you get your life back! I feel very blessed to have been referred to him and would and have, recommend anyone to go see him.
