Intelligent, caring surgeon/ physician who did an incredible job diagnosing and correcting my bilateral foot concern. Am fully able to be competitive again and have absolutely no pain or difficulty as a result of his good work.
Dr Garras listens to you symptoms and treat accordingly.He has been my Doctor for many years. I started with him at his other practice. And followed here we have a 1:30 to 2 hour drive just to see him. He is well worth it.
SIMPLY.....THE BEST IN HIS FIELD AS A SURGEON , TRETMENT AND HAS A OUTSTANDING MEDICAL STAFF.

I initially visited another orthopedic doctor; had they taken the time and consideration Dr Garrad did I would not have had to seen him. He and his staff we’re kind, considerate & he sat with me and explained what was wrong and showed me on the X-ray exactly where the problem was located. Very happy and relieved. Such an amazing doctor! He is very knowledgeable and always gives you options like you the patient decides your treatment. He treats you like you are one of his family members. His staff especially Gabby will go to any length to ensure you are taken care of. Absolutely the best foot and ankle surgeon in or around Chicago (trust me, I've seen them all). He fixed what 3 other surgeons misdiagnosed and butchered in surgery. He is incredible. He is caring and compassionate. Treats you like family. Worth waiting for and the drive if you're not near his office. You could find someone closer or that's not as busy and gets you in quicker but then you'd be sacrificing quality.

I saw Dr. Garras for pain in my big toe. I thought there was something out of whack with my foot. Dr. Garras diagnosed the problem as muscle tightness in my legs, which was causing the foot pain. He sent me to PT, and after that I saw a masseuse who performed incredibly painful massages to loosen the fascia from my muscles. The recovery took months, but the pain is completely gone. Dr. Garras correctly diagnosed the problem. He is also very friendly and professional.
Dr. Garras is GREAT. He informed me of all pre-op and post-op procedures. My surgery was excellent and the ease of seeing him for follow up visits are terrific.
