Very thorough and clear instructions on risk/benefit and what to expect. Definitely helped to reduce stress level.
I was very satisfied with the service I received at the follow-up visit after my March 19 open-heart surgery. Staff was friendly and helpful from the minute I checked in at the main floor registration desk. After visiting with Dr. Waters (who was in between surgeries) Lisa continued with the questions she needed to ask. I like the doctor and his nurses , but to be honest , I'm scared of what they told me , I need to have the surgery or I'll die, and there is a very good chance I'll die on the table because of my other health problems. I'm doing what I was told to do , I've been off alcohol and marijuana for over a week now . I went golfing for exercise and walked the whole course. I only got tired walking up the hills, but over all I felt good.
Starting this experience with the evaluations of my regular doctors, events moved efficiently to treat the suspected issue. I was admitted to the hospital on the same day following specific diagnostic exams that were scheduled within the 4 days of my being in the hospital. The nurses were very helpful in trying to help me be comfortable and to BREATHE during the day and night. my entire experience was absolutely fantastic. my ct-scan with jean christensen was great. she took the time to explain everything that was going to happen before, during, and after the scan. my meeting with doctor waters was also great. his nurse took the time to explain everything she could ahead of time. dr. waters was very professional and very friendly. his explaination of the results of my ct-scan was very thorough and he went to great length to relieve my wife and my concerns about everything that had happened in the ... read more
Excellent. Dr. Waters was very friendly & he had a very calming personality. He was very thorough with all the information needed for my surgery.
Dr. Waters replaced three valves in my heart after a heart attack, and I'm doing great. I am grateful for his expertise.
