We go to Dr Hickman as a PCP . He went through all the blood work results for my husband answered many questions . Smiling and gracious. He is very knowledgeable with details that help us navigate our doing our best to be healthy. I would not go to anyone else
Love Dr Hickman he doesn’t give up on trying to find out what is wrong with me. Never feel rushed because he listens and gives his opinion too then a decision is made. Reminds me of tests I need run. Overall, he is the best!
As a patient of Dr. Hickman for over 20 years, I feel qualified to say he is compassionate, kind, and considerate. He listens to his patients, and represents Ascension Sacred Heart extremely well. He is professional and competent, I hope he remains at Sacred Heart for many years to come. I trust him!

Quality
Extremely hard to get an appointment. Staff does not return calls and when you finally get through there is NO compassion or understanding.
Refused as new patient with VA referral. No explanation for refusal outside of "not a good fit". Recently moved home to Pace and in urgent need of check-up. I would understand if there was an explanation such as not taking on new patients, doesn't take veterans, doesn't support Mission Act, etc.
