Kids loved the waiting room with the fish, but we were taken back to the room immediately upon arrival which was a wonderful experience.
I have never encountered such discourteous office staff. Save yourself the heartache and find another practice!
I was recommended to Dr. Abel for my twins. His staff in the office are extremely rude and act as if you are bothering them to send a fax or if you are requesting documents. He spent no more than 5 mins with both my chidren and always said nothing was wrong. I swithed to Dr. Christine George in DeSoto, TX.
Excellent manors. Kids really like him all 6 of mine. they were so happy when i changed to Dr Able from the older cold handed dr. He shows a real passion for doing his job professional and kind.
We have been going to Dr Abel since my youngest son was born (now is 3) and we have never had any problems getting in to see Dr. Abel. The wait for this Dr is nothing compared to other providers we have seen. My boys really like him and his staff is friendly as well.
DON"T go this doctor has horrible bedside manners and acts very arrogantly. Dr. Abel's visits last no more then 2 minutes and asking questions he acts like you are a bother. And he loves to throw out big words just to make sure you know he went to Med school. Don't waste your time my 2 girls did not like him at all he isn't friendly nor good with kids.
I went to Dr. Able at the Cooper Clinic for a full blown physical in March 2004. I found him very attentive, knowledgable and overall a good experience. I plan to go back to him this year for a 5 year follow up.
The staff is extremely rude. Waiting time is excessive - both in the waiting room and in the examining room.
