I am a newer patient of Dr. Chris Prusinski. For over the last several years I have been having severe neck pain at the upper spine connecting the base of my skull. I was almost at a point where I could not function on a daily basis. I literally had to lift my head up with my hands. Very considerate; shows concerns for the patient's conditions and asks if there is anything I needed. Personable.
In 54 years of my life, Dr. Prusinski was literally the most inconsiderate physician I’ve encountered. He was sarcastic, passive aggressive, hurried, and made extremely rude comments. There were no other waiting patients in his office to justify his rushing me out – only his assistants sitting at the front desk. I only spent fewer than 10 minutes with him, and was dumbfounded at how arrogant and uninterested he was in my concerns of recurring headaches. As other comments mention, he will rush you in and out of his office to spend as little time as possible with you. He was supposed to send a referral out that we had to follow up on two separate times. He condescendingly started calling me “doctor” repeatedly when I made a suggestion after working in the health field. He also kept referring to “National Parkinson’s Foundation” which hasn’t existed in 5+ years. Very knowledgable, kind person, very concerned with finding the root cause of issue. However, doesnt fully listen to patients, and makes it known he obviously knows more about conditions being treated. Wait times can be horrid sometimes, like 1 - 1.5 hours past appt time before being seen. The staff is very friendly though, and super efficient. Some communication could be improved. A week after my appointment my orthopedist is still waiting for my test results from this doctor, totally unacceptable!
Very thorough and takes his time with you.
Dr. Prusinski is one of the best specialists I have ever been to. He has been able to assist me through an injury as well as my other complex medical conditions. His level of real true compassion and knowledge has made a world of difference in my life. My mother is also a patient at the office and has received a level of care that she was not able to get from other physicians.
