i needed to have my hip replacement surgery for quite some time but was very apprehensive - however after meeting Dr. Nanson and his team i was at ease and looked forward to having the procedure.

I was quite happy with the surgery results. Dr. Nanson was recommended by a long time friend of mine. I believe he is a excellent surgeon. However I do have some complaints. First on all communication. I found it difficult to contact Jodi or anyone, I mainly got voice mail and calls were not returned in a timely fashion. Not a big deal if I were not in chronic pain. Dr. Nanson is a great doctor to work with! I had knee replacement with him 4 weeks ago and plan to have my other knee replacement as soon as I’m all healed up and released for surgery again.
I was impressed with Dr. Nanson's pre and post op concern for the patient. He was friendly and informative. He obviously did a great job performing my hip replacement.It has been two weeks since my surgery, and I am back to my normal activities. The nurses were great also, friendly and efficient. Thank you for a great experience.
Excellent surgery experience...I had never had major surgery before. In addition, the Care Team at the Oregon Surgical Institute could not have been better. Both D. Nanson and his PA and the team at OSI are very caring and professionally knowledgeable. I could not have been happier with their work.
I feel that I received excellent care not only from Dr. Nanson but also from his staff at the Oregon Surgical Institute and Orthopedics N.W. My surgery experience far exceeded my expectations as far as post-op pain, general recovery and mobility were concerned. I have been able to recover without a need for opiates. I look forward to a similar experience in a few months on the other knee. Thank you to everyone involved in making my experience not nearly as scary as I had spent three years imagining it would be.
Everything went well. Two weeks post surgery and no complications, quick answers to questions and hip is feeling better everyday
As an active, 45-year old male, I was in denial about needing a hip replacement - even after my PT, GP and two orthos all came to the same conclusion. After a whole lot of pain limiting my motion, activities and waking me while I slept, I reached out to Dr. Nanson for help.
