Office is very unorganized, i could see other patient records because they were all scattered all over the front desk. The phone service is poorly managed. Dr Horah seems like a good doc but only found out that the meds she put him on counteracted with his other medications would cause unnecessary side effects. Had to go to the walk in many times due to no-one answering the phone when called. Although I have been very happy with Dr. Horahs care I have no patience left for her husband/office staff and the answering service. He is rude and sometimes pretends he is a nurse and able to answer my medical questions when I ask to speak to a nurse. She should really hire some competent office staff and get some organization into the practice
I am currently having a dilemma with Dr Horah's office.Dr Horah is a great Dr with an excellent bedside manner. But I do not have 2 hours to sit in a waiting room. I have never been there and not waited at least 1 and a half hours and that has been on different days and at all hours. The office takes on more patients than it can handle on a daily basis and the result is extremely long waits. They really need a nurse on staff or maybe an assistant. Dr. Horah is an amazing doctor, and I find it refreshing to find someone who takes the time to hear you and take a holistic approach to healing. The wait has been long, but only during peak flu seasons, and only on her late night when everyone is trying to avoid missing work to be seen by a doctor. Her husband/office manager has always been very helpful. I have been to doctors with extremely plush offices who have been complete jerks, so get over it.
Dr. Horah is a knowledgeable, friendly and caring doctor. Yes, the office is busy, and sometimes I have waited to get in, but the fact that she takes the time to ask questions and has a wholistic approach, makes up for the time spent waiting. Her husband has always tried to fit me in when I have been very sick, and always has been kind even in the most hectic situations.
Dr. Horah is competent and thorough but I am leaving the practice because of her rude husband who runs the front office. They are very disorganized and always run at least 1 hour late.
She is very unorganized and has her children help to run her office. I know of two patients for whom she has lost their entire health records and she is rarely available. She is under investigation for losing records.
this doctor should not be able to write any prescriptions!! i went in a few weeks ago with a rash she said it was skin mites and prescribed a cream, i found this very weird since they are highly contagious and my roommates and boyfriend showed no signs but i went ahead and used the cream well it only worsened and spread all over my body. when i went in 2 weeks later she seemed surprised that it was 5x's worse than before and prescribed another cream that was suppose to help with the symptoms, itching, redness, dryness, and b... read more
Dr. Horah is a thorough, knowledgeable physician. I have been a patient of hers for years, after transferring from an overbooked, no-time-for-me practice. Dr. Horah is busy, but always, always takes the time to answer my questions and explain everything. Her husband (office manager) has always treated me with the utmost respect, courtesy and helpfulness.
