She was awesome...she made my first time having surgery pretty cool...i was able to walk a month and a half after surgery better yet go back to work...i mean JHH has a special person...i love her lol
We were referred to Dr. Humbyrd by a pediatric orthopedist at JH. Our daughter had been suffering due to a congenital defect. Dr H had reviewed her case and knew everything when we got there. She took the time to explain what she could do and made certain that we both understood the risks and that things may not get better. Well she was fantastic from pre-op to follow up. It was terrific! She gave me time and explained everything to me. This is the third time I have been to her, and I would recommend her to anyone Who has foot problems.
Dr Humbyrd is an excellent surgeon and practitioner. The results of my surgery have been excellent. Her staff, including her PA, are all top notch. Very patient centered, and compassionate. The follow up has been well coordinated. Highly recommend!
Dr Humbyrd was very patient with me and listened to me about my ankle. She recommended pt and also a support for inside my shoe. There was no need for a follow up appointment.

I am a neurologist. Dr. Humbyrd operated on my foot. The pre-op visit was not rushed, she explained things properly. She is personable, gives proper instructions and instills trust. This was validated by the surgical procedure. She performed the surgery within a short time after the visit. The surgery and post-op period was uneventful and had a very satisfying outcome. I recommend Dr. Humbyrd highly as a foot and ankle surgeon.
Dr. Humbyrd is an amazing person and surgeon. I was dealing w/foot & ankle pain for over 10 years. One visit with her and we had a game plan. I'm so very thankful she was my surgeon. Her staff and orthopedic therapist were the best. I finally can do everything I used to do with no pain. I cant say Thank You enough to Dr. Humbyrd. I hope she knows what an amazing surgeon she is and what she has given me back.
If you are not seeing Dr. Humbyrd, you should. She is very detailed oriented, which I feel a major reason why my recovery is going to well. She and her staff are wonderful and genuinely care about patients.
