In 2018, Dr. Humbyrd repaired a wrecked tendon in my left ankle. I met with her a couple of times before the surgery after having pursued a solution to my issue for years. After an exam, she confirmed the issue, laid out the options and after the last conservative approach was tried, I scheduled surgery. Most importantly, her work was immaculate. She is an egotistical, pompous liar. Do not trust her. She won’t tell you risks and they don’t care about you at post op period. She is a terrible doctor
Had a visit to see this physician when she was located in Baltimore. She looked at the x-rays of my foot and said that I had what is called the "poor man's gait" Since I am an African American woman. I found this offensive and in very bad taste.
Dr. Humbyrd was the all-around best physician I have seen in quite some time and I see a lot. She was very thorough,thoughtful and empathetic in my exam and follow up care. I especially liked how she was conservative in her treatment recommendations before the surgical options. Her approach with me was very collaborative
