I would definitely recommend Dr Springer. When I went to see him I had been in pain for about four years with my hip replacement. He discovered I had an infection and decided to operate and fix it. Before the operation I came down with a blood infection from a staph infection in my knee that had been replaced. Both infections in the same leg. Dr. Springer did a full right knee replacement for me four years ago. It came out perfectly! Even my scar came out great, and I have full use of my knee with no pain at all. He is my favorite doctor of all time! He's caring, thorough, and extremely competent. I trust him completely, and he's also a great guy who loves his patients. What a gem we have in North Carolina!

Dr. Springer took on my knee replacement after two other surgeons did not sound hopeful or interested in doing the surgery. I had suffered a knee trauma a few years earlier and had a leg full of metal. His demeanor is one of competence, confidence, professionalism, and respect. He honestly set my expectations for how long and much work on my part to achieve recovery. I had a total knee replacement through Dr Springer and his team in mid February 2021. At my 4 month post op checkup all is well; no issues, limitations or pain. To me, Dr Springer is simply the best.
After 2 hip replacements my active lifestyle has been restored. From the initial visit to subsequent follow-ups I have had total confidence in Dr. Springer's assessments and procedures. He is absolutely thorough and no question goes unanswered. Without a doubt, one of the best available!
I give God and Dr. Springer credit for my being able to walk. After 5 previous knee procedures, Dr. Springer found I had a metal allergy, replaced them both with porcelain coated prosthesis, and my new knees are doing great!! Metal allergy is real for a small percentage of us!! Also grateful to my Atlanta doctor Jon Minter for not giving up and referring me to Dr. Springer.
